A Simple Touch Probe made with basic tools.

I have come up with a rather simple design for a touch probe (only two parts to make), and also a fairly simple way to make it. So I set myself the challenge of seeing to what extent a cunning design could compensate for tools that would not normally be considered up to the task.
The final result has decent repeatability, but not very good coaxiality.
But it could still be used (rotate the spindle 180 degrees and take the average)
Made with better tools, it could hardly fail to be better.
