Thanks for checking out TreadmillReviews.com! This video is looking at the NordicTrack T 6.5 Si. This is an inexpensive way to get your hands on a more high-tech home treadmill and we’ve added the T 6.5 Si to our list of Best Walking Treadmills for 2019.

This treadmill has a 2.6 CHP motor. A motor with this rating is recommended for walking and some light jogging. If you’re looking for a treadmill that can sustain heavy, regular use, look for a motor rated 3.5 CHP and higher. The T 6.5 Si has a 10 mph max speed and 0-10% incline range. Quick select controls along either side of the console make it quick and easy to hop between different speeds and inclines. The running surface is on the smaller side at 20” x 55” but does offer a bit of joint protection with FlexSelect™ cushioning. To save space or more easily transport, the T 6.5 Si folds up and locks in place. And surprisingly at this price point, the T 6.5 Si has a relatively high user weight capacity at 300 pounds.

The stand out feature on this inexpensive home treadmill is the impressive 10” HD touchscreen display. This display allows you to view the many onboard workouts and iFit library content in brilliant color and clarity. It provides a whole new experience to walking indoors, allowing you to train with really good personal trainers all over the world.

The console has two built-in speakers that can project the display audio or audio from a mobile device if you plug it into the console’s AUX plug. Without iFit, you can still access 20 onboard workouts. Additionally, the T 6.5 Si has two large water bottle holders, an accessory tray, and EKG pulse grip heart rate monitors.

The subscription service that pairs with the NordicTrack T 6.5 Si is called “iFit”. Your purchase of the T 6.5 Si from NordicTrack includes a 12-month membership to iFit at no additional cost. Renewing the subscription is really affordable. For one user profile, the cost is $15 per month. For up to five user profiles, the cost is $33 per month. An iFit subscription gives you access to hundreds of on-demand workout videos for both on and off your treadmill. You can choose from walking, running, hiking, manual, HIIT, cardio, interval, strength, yoga, and more. The subscription trakcs your workout activity and stores your history on the cloud. The suit of iFit apps also provides education, nutrition tracking, and outdoor activity tracking.

Our bottom line review of the NordicTrack T 6.5 Si is this: this is a GREAT choice for a home treadmill where the user wants to primarily walk indoors. It’s very affordable while also being very entertaining.
