To start off 2025, I decided to release a route visual that I've been wanting to do for months with a new camera!

The 187 is operated by Metroline West using New-ish MCV Volvo BZL's & Existing Enviro 200's from Willesden Junction [WJ] Garage. The route goes from Central Middlesex Hospital, Park Royal ASDA, Harlesden, Kensal Green, Kensal Rise, Queen's Park, Maida Vale, Warwick Avenue, St John's Wood, Swiss Cottage, South Hampstead, Finchley Road Station & the O2 Centre. I would like to thank the driver for letting me film at the front and for being very cooperative throughout the duration of this visual!

I've been wanting to do this route for a long time, but due to the screen blocking the front-view, it has been really hard and challenging to complete. These full EV complete allocation for this route has been delayed for 2 years since January 2023 as well as the 487. The reason why the 187 and 487 have a similar routing, trance and numbering is because the 487 is a proceedor of the 187. As the 187 used to run from South Harrow all the way to Finchley Road, O2 Centre up until 1999 and then it was withdrawn and replaced by the 487. To be honest, I don't know why only 5 BZL's have been introduced in the space of 10 months in WJ. But EW & PB completed theirs in no time for the 251 & 384. The only good thing is that LK08FKT & FKV are still here! So by seeing that the BZL's are here with a clear front-view screen, I chose to go ahead and complete this route; and what better way to complete this with a new camera!!!

I have tried catching a Volvo BZL working on the 187 since November 2024, but it subbed at Park Parade to no avail where I had planned to exactly catch it from! The journey wasn't even that bad to be fair. Apart from the fact that 2 passengers were arguing along Doyle Gardens about passing too close to one another when sitting down lol. Then, someone was asking why I was filming (in a good way). Otherwise, I hope you enjoy this visual!
