Zentangle Original 102 Tangles - Part 8 with Ibex and Squill

Описание к видео Zentangle Original 102 Tangles - Part 8 with Ibex and Squill

This is video number 8 in my 102 Tangles of Zentangle poster playlist. (See below for more information if you’re new to this playlist.) This week I’m showing two patterns which do not have public step outs: Ibex and Squill. This means that the step outs are only in the Zenthology book given to CZTs. I was inspired by a tile in the Zentangle Mosaic app that had Squill in the center of a diamond shape. And I have really enjoyed drawing the pattern Ibex. It’s a very simple pattern with a lot of possibilities. I definitely plan to use it again.

I also show a tile I made with four of the square grid patterns from the 102 Tangles poster: W2, Huggins, Florz, Cubine. It was fun to get them all on the same tile.

I’m working my way through the Zentangle poster called “102 Tangles of Zentangle” because it introduced me to this art method that I love so much. In honor of my 4th anniversary of becoming a CZT, I wanted to identify the 102 patterns on the poster. I have loved studying the poster and the Zenthology, which is the book given to Certified Zentangle Teachers when they complete their seminar training. It has been fun practicing and sharing the patterns.
