This is a vintage lace edging pattern and is really easy to do. It is made using size 10 crochet thread and a 1.75mm hook. It is two and a quarter inches deep/5.5cm. I am sure it would work up quite nicely with finer threads and even with the finer yarns to edge scarves or shawls. It starts with 5 rows and then you repeat rows 2-5 which are incredibly short so you get to see the design almost straight away. There are no fancy stitches in this edging just ch, sc, dc and ss. I would categorize this as an easy pattern. I am going to edge a pillow case with this lace. Hope you enjoy😊
