The Tarmachan Hills provide a terrific winter ridge walk and is ideal for the short winter days. Leaving the busy car park we walked west along the track to pick up the west top before turning and heading east towards the munro Meall nan Tarmachan. It was a terrific day with very light winds which added to the enjoyment of the experience.
