Beyond the Height-of-Land 25 Days in the Northern Manitoba Wild - E.17 - Solo Whitewater & Bear: In this episode of Beyond the Height-of-Land, my brother Ted Baird of Alone season 4 and I solo some serious whitewater rapids and enjoy Manitoba wildlife including a Bald Eagle and an Eaglet in a large Eagle’s Nest. Getting a close look at the baby Eagle was a highlight. We also spent some time watching a Black Bear. Outfitting in tow, our canoes continue to ply the waters of Northern Manitoba’s massive Seal River and we saw many seals too. The scenery all around us was spectacular. Canoe camping at its finest in the wild North. We’re way off-grid on this Wild camping wilderness adventure and we’re headed for the Hudson Bay coast where there are many Polar Bears.
