With Nixie QTC (‘Quick Tube Change’), each tube is soldered to its own mini ‘tube cell’ PCB. A tube can be changed in minutes with no danger to the main PCB. A single main board is capable of driving tens of different types of Nixie Tubes. You can even completely change the tube type of your clock by installing new tube cells and tubes.

The case was built and assembled using professional grade equipment. The acrylic edges have been hand sanded in order to provide a frosted appearance. There are no visible seams around the acrylic body (front, back, and sides) of the case, as the acrylic has been bent in front and the seams are hidden in the back using a proprietary process. The PCB board was soldered by hand and assembled with the case.

The IN-14 tubes have an upside down "2" in the place of a "5" digit (see product image). This was presumably done in order to save on materials in the Russian manufacturing process of the tubes, which gives the clock a very nostalgic feel.
