Ninjago: Frostburn is a Fanmade Ninjago Holiday Special: After going on a mission in pursuit of a stolen artifact goes wrong. Jay gets ready to spend the holidays with the family he does have. However, he begins to wonder what his biological family truly was like. However, unbeknownst to him he will get to find out. Though it might not be all it's cracked up to be.

Aaaaaaaaand Where back!! After a year of being gone… we’re back with something new XD. Sorry its been so long again but life is as life does I suppose. This last year (2023 to be specific) Was a rollercoaster ride to say this least… Ninjago Frostburn started production late 2022 around September or october to be exact… and even then, alot of it was pitching the idea getting an amazing group of people together to work on it finding voice actors and writing the script making model sheets etc… As time went on even the style of the special evolved a bit, as later on the introduction of blending the special with 2d and CG was a choice made for ease of use in animating certain shots and backgrounds.

Even still Come February of 2023 and my health hit me like a freight train… I went from 2022 feeling like i was on top of the world. To the next year being in pain every day for months on end due to TMJ and jaw/ neck / back pain… This lead to me being unable to sit as long as i wanted to to draw… Let alone made it hard for me to eat and sleep… Ya know basic normal life things lol…

Even still as the months went on that part sort of got better until I go to the hospital for something else… get a scan and find out that I now need to have a tiny bit of brain surgery (this was around june…) and even with being marred with physical health things that didnt help the effects on my mental health… though it could be said that from even 2022 i was running from those things finally catching up with me… heck when i uploaded my first ninjago animatic… that day I fainted in the discord call me and somewhere in as i was uploading… Suffice to say maybe the writing was on the wall from the start… that I need to take a break to at least sort out some things…

And i did! Not all of it sure but some of it!! I started working on my mental health and am now on some meds that help a lot with anxiety etc. Along with many other things… it's been an uphill battle for sure. But it's been worth it because I'm here now.

Being able to create something amazing with my friends… and being able to spend time with them and hang out and laugh… sure theres still a lot to do… (future surgery included) but… until that day im going to enjoy both the now and the prospects of what is to be…

I’m super excited for you all to see part 1 of the special… alot of love has been put into it already the whole thing much like my other animatics are a love letter to ninjago and its amazing community!! This one even more so… I hope you guys enjoy!!
