Chapter 12: The Great Moot

In the annals of Enedwaith's history, the tribes had long dwelt in solitude, save for fleeting exchanges and occasional raids. Each clan, loyal to its own lord, lived an insular existence. Yet, for the first time in millennia, the clans had cast aside their ancient animosity and convened a Great Moot. In this hallowed gathering, we anointed a new Moot-Lord to guide us into a resplendent era, the venerable warrior, Tremac.

Thus, Tremac ascended as the chosen Mootlord, entrusted with the noble mantle of leadership over the united clans of Enedwaith. Yet, Tremac's reign would be one marred by ruin and impending doom. For where I, as a trusted advisor, sought friendship among the elves of the Noldor. Tremac sought only war and bloodshed.

Now the formidable stronghold of Lond Daer has fallen under the banner of Feanor, its formidable walls and bountiful defenses now fortifying their cause.

With relentless resolve, the Noldorin forces advance relentlessly toward the heart of Enedwaith, Alcfud, where Mootlord Tremac holds his tenuous court.

In this dire hour, Enedwaith issues a desperate plea, a clarion call to any able-bodied soul, regardless of their prowess, beseeching them to grasp whatever weapons they can. It is a valiant display of valor, a testament to our unwavering spirit in the shadow of imminent demise.

From the murmuring rivers, the fertile fields, and the ancient forests, we heed Tremac's call, an unyielding tide surging towards the impending abyss, where our sacrifice shall be etched into the annals of history.
