The mines of Sungai Lembing

Описание к видео The mines of Sungai Lembing

This short video showcases the tin mine of Sungai Lembing in Pahang, Malaysia. Once the longest tin mine in the world, spanning approximately 322km long and over 200ft deep in places, it was officially closed in 1987 and is now a museum that attracts visitors to explore the tunnels that once contributed to the growth of Malaysia. The sleepy small town of Sungai Lembing is an attraction on it's own, giving visitors a feel of what old rustic Malaya was like.
