My experience with the Google Pixel 7 Pro has been nothing but awesome. I’ve been a non-Pixel user my whole life… This is my first one to use and I don’t see myself transitioning to another phone any time soon. If you consider buying this phone in 2024, I would highly recommend it. It does well in anything that I can think of, gaming, photography, or just casual usage. That being said, there are some things to note before you choose to buy it.

Fingerprint reader and overheating issues I have seen some people saying they experience difficulty unlocking the phone with the fingerprint scanner while others say they also experience overheating. On my side, I’ve never experienced any issues with the fingerprint scanner, but it does overheat slightly after a heavy usage, so, it is definitely something to keep in mind.
I’m currently testing out the Pixel 6 pro, so if you haven’t subscribed yet, please do so that you don’t miss more reviews like this one. Thanks.

These are some of the features of Pixel 7 Pro that I like most.
The first one is photo unblur; Using Google Photos, you can quickly and easily remove blur and visual noise from any of your photos—new or old—by tapping the Photo Unblur button.
The second is one of my favorite features so far, Smart Selection: copy text or images within the current screen of the app you are using without taking a screenshot or anything like it.
Clear calling is also one of the unique features that Pixel phones have. With Clear Calling, your phone conversations will sound better than ever before. It can detect ambient noise, such as wind or traffic, and remove it, leaving just the clearest sound. Good thing is that it does all this without compromising your privacy. Meaning it doesn’t send your audio or conversations to google.
Quick Tap: By using the Quick Tap shortcut, you may select from a wide variety of operations that can be performed by double-pressing the rear of your Pixel phone. Although I've configured it to capture screenshots on my Pixel, it has many other uses as well, like opening Google Assistant, playing/paused media, opening a specific app, and more. If you're concerned about inadvertently activating the action, you can adjust the intensity of your taps. Having relied on this function for quite some time, I can say with confidence that it always performs as promised.
Well, there are a lot of other pixel exclusive features that I haven’t mentioned, but these are the ones that I enjoy using the most.

Screen is 6.7 inches, which is same as their latest one the pixel 8 pro. The bezels are so thin that you get immersed fully on what you are watching because the display covers 88.7% of the front surface. HDR10+ with 120hz refresh rate, very handy in gaming and overall media consumption. The display: 1440 to 3120 pixels, cool. It’s perfect for using on any environment, even on a sunny day since its brightness goes up to 15 hundred nits. One among the cool things I noticed is when I put the pixel and Samsung side by side, you can tell that even on high brightness, the Pixel doesn’t compromise color accuracy in any way.
You could say it’s more than enough for content consumption except for one thing: the audio, it’s not bad but it’s not good enough either. The speaker at the bottom is louder than the one at the top center which is primarily used for calling. It seems that Google combined these speakers to achieve stereo, but I would recommend getting an earpiece for proper audio experience especially if you are going to use it for gaming.
Speaking of gaming, I use it a lot to play CODM at maximum settings without experiencing any frame drops. I also play PUBG on it but like many phones, the game is not optimized to run at highest FPS for the Pixel 7 Pro either. However, it does get a bit hot after a long gaming session but I’ve never gotten any device heating warning from playing games. And with 5,000 mAh battery, I can get it to whole day without charging it. So that’s good.
The tensor G2 chip does a very good job here, as you may already know this chip was introduced to focus more on AI features.

I think pixel 7 pro is one of the best phones out there with a good budget.
