One can visit Pelling from Ravangla in a day trip, it will take approximately 2 hrs from Ravangla to Pelling which is just 50 km away from Ravangla, on the way your first stop should be at Legship and second should be Rabdentse ruins. Then visit Pelling Skywalk and finally on the way back to Ravangla visit Pemayangtse monastery.
