Missing two 67.5V "anode batteries" for 135V voltage. There are non-working batteries from 1962.
There are also missing two 1.5V batteries for tubes.
Mechanically good, winding and rotating reels are working, player is cleaned.
No sound because batteries.

The second generation Nagra recorder with miniature tubes equipped, clockwork motor, fitted with printed circuit boards replacing chassis wiring of Nagra I&II/b/c, appearing in 1955.
The NAGRA II is quite sophisticated, driven by a Grammophon spring from language laboratory equipment , and with excellent subjective and audio quality. The recorder is extremely sturdy;

Driven by a spring motor (modified Thorens type 144), amplifier powered by batteries.

This Nagra II-CI is the last of the spring motor Nagras (predecessors: Nagra I, Nagra II, Nagra II b, Nagra II-c). It was replaced by the groundbreaking transistorized Nagra III developed in 1957, available from 1958.
