DJI Mini 3 PRO - EU/CE Range Test - Hyper Extreme!!! - Using RC-N1 controller

Range test on DJI Mini 3 PRO with standard battery and the RC-N1 controller (without screen).

A test somewhere in northern Europe where I managed to fly to a position 7087 m away from the controller before I chose to hit the RTH due to battery constraints. My feeling is that it could easily have gone further.

The RC-N1 controller seems to perform better than the RC controller, video link was transmitting flawlessly all the way out which was not the case for the RC controller. Also worth mentioning is that the RC controller will only record in 480p whereas here I get 1080p using my Ipad Air 2 connected to the RC-N1 controller. However I will still be using the RC controller for most purposes as it's lightweight and handy and gets the job done without the need to use your smartphone. Just hope that DJI will fix the issue of the recording of the transmission link only being in 480p.

My starting position was about 25 m above sea level as can be seen from the footage, and the drone was flying through a valley to the fjord and flying over open water, so minimal disturbances. Do NOT expect to anything close to this unless you fly in similar optimal conditions.

Warning: The video is boring and I have not even bothered adding sound as most people will like just browse around. The full clip is from the Ipad Air 2 connected to the controller and is unedited, however I made a mistake so recording was started a bit late after about 500 m.
