AZORES SPIRITUAL CELEBRATION - BOM JESUS MILAGROSO -2ND LARGEST RELIGIOUS FESTIVAL IN AZORES -Ep 153

Hi Guys,

Come along and experience the amazing feast of Senhor Bom Jesus Milagroso, here in the vineyard village of Sao Mateus on Pico island. This is the 2nd largest religious celebration in the Azores, dating back to 1962 and beyond. It is also one of the largest in Portugal.

On this video you will experience events that take place over a 4 day period, Aug 3 to 7; regattas, philharmonic, procession, mass, folklore, marches, food, drink and much more.

This feast brought back memories for me and for those immigrants that haven't been here in a while. Those who have never attended...will get a taste of what the feast is all about, hopefully you will get to experience it some time in the near future.
