Super super quick video this week. The day for this one is June 27th, 2021 and Tessa and I stopped in at the Ross Creek Cedars off of Highway 56 I Montana - about 25-30 minutes south of the little town known as Troy. Earlier in the day, we had already hiked out of nearby Leigh Lake - a beautiful alpine lake that we had backpacked into that is nestled high in the Cabinet Mountain Wilderness of the state... So we weren't really too eager to hike for miles and miles.

We were recommended to check out this ancient cedar grove and it was fantastic! The small scenic trail is a nature loop hike that takes you through ancient forests of cedar trees that are anywhere from 500-1000 years old. The trees are massive, and some measure more than eight feet in diameter. If you're in the area, I definitely recommend checking this one out.
