Open your browser and go to www.google.com
Search "windows 7 service pack 1" If you have the 64 bit version type "windows 7 service pack 1 64 bit" - no quotes
Usually the first link is the right one, where you must click
Will redirect you to Microsoft website

Before you see the download link you must validate your Windows, click on button CONTINUE
You must install a small add-on that will check your Windows then you will be redirected to the download page
If you using the 64 bit version you need to download windows6.1-KB976932-X64.exe
If you using the 32 bit version you need to download windows6.1-KB976932-X86.exe

Make sure you have at least 1GB free space

To install it you will need at least 5GB free on partition/drive C:\ where Windows usually is installed

Click the download link and save the EXE someplace where you can easily find it, like Desktop
Depending on your computer performance and internet connection this may take hours to finish
If you on dial-up ask a friend with broadband to download it for you and burn it to DVD
Now that you have the installer on your computer, double click on it, when the new window opens click on NEXT
Next you will see the menu where you can leave the installer to automatically restart computer, leave it checked.
Make sure you saved all your work and you have no other program is running, click on button INSTALL
Now go get a coffee or something, will take at least 30 min to finish. Windows will install and restart automatically several times
When you see the window that says "Window 7 service pack 1 is now installed" you done.
