We are fans of the famous Klon circuit. Greatness was expected as default. Yet even so, it managed to amaze. Below you will find the most concise and objective review of the Haggtronix Klagg.

Pros:
highest quality strictly THD construction
one of the simplest pedals to get good tones (basically no “difficult” settings)
one of the loudest pedals ever
can be very transparent or “colored” as needed
can work as an excellent boost/preamp, overdrive and even distortion
extremely dynamic even at high gain settings
basically noise free
incredibly low price (only 135$ on the day this video aired)

Cons:
none

Neutral:
the changes from the classic Klon circuit are subtle but present (mostly noticeable when compared side by side)
original Klon buffered bypass (very transparent)
relay bypass from Panasonic (made in Japan)

If you like Klones, you will want the Klagg as a premier example of the genre. If you already have a few Klones, its slight differences from the original will warrant it. If you've never had a Klone and have no idea what they sound like, forget all the hearsay and talk and grab one. Its loud transparent volume is objectively unmatched by any Boss/mass-produced offering, and its drive tone is one of the most dynamic and easily usable of all, even by itself. It could cost twice more and still be worth it. We have Klones, and still this can't leave us. Without a doubt, the Klagg is one of our favorite pedals ever made, that will never leave us. And now we want the Golden Klagg version too... haha!
