MARAWIR PEAK, ESPERANZA, SULTAN KUDARAT

The jump off point to Sitio Marawir in Barangay Salumping is 35 kilometers from the Municipal Hall of Esperanza and more than 2 hours of travel either by truck, 4x4 car or habal-habal crossing the mountains of Daguma Mountain Range.

Marawir Peak is the major attraction on this out-reach program by LGU Esperanza, Esperanza Tourism Office, Team Pokoyo and MMF Region 12. This is just 577 feet above from its base but technically its 2,654 feet above sea level.

Teduray and Manobo are the major tribes (IP) living in this area in Sitio Marawir, Barangay Salumping in the Municipality of Esperanza, Province of Sultan Kudarat, just few kilometers in the nearby barangay of Maguindanao Province.
