All I can tell you about Peter Fenton is that he was born in Yorkshire and released 3 singles on Fontana between 1965-67. 'Marble Breaks, Iron Bends' was the second of these and reached #46 on the UK charts. Highly popular at the time with the Pirate radio stations it was Produced with usual high quality by Steve Rowland.
The song had originally been written and performed by Germany's Drafi Deutscher as 'Marmor Stein und Eisen Bricht' and topped the German charts in 1965. There is an English version by Drafi elsewhere on YouTube.
