The Neurodivergent Infinity Network of Educators is committed to fostering human rights-based, neuroaffirming practices in Education and beyond. Aligned with this commitment, we are excited to be launching a series of thought-provoking educational sessions, featuring Neurodivergent authors, researchers, advocates and more! Each session is geared to challenge our hearts and minds.

In this inaugural session of Neurodivergent Changemakers, we welcomed Anne Borden King!

Anne Borden King is a Toronto-based journalist & Autistic advocate. Her writing has appeared in the New York Times, Healthy Debate and the Thinking Person's Guide to Autism. She is host of Noncompliant, a popular podcast about Neurodiversity. She’s a co-founder of Autistics for Autistics and Director of the Autistic Health Access Project.

In this session, Anne discussed her research on the history of ABA (Applied Behavioural Analysis) and its troubling legacy in our schools—as well as newer, neuro-affirming practices that are replacing ABA, to make classrooms safer and more inclusive.

This session was held live on December 4, 2024.
This video recording provides Anne's presentation only. Those who attend these sessions live may also remain for the interactive Q & A portion, however these will not be recorded for the privacy of attendees.
