This can't be real? We Found Paradise in Loutro, Crete | Greek Islands

Welcome to Loutro, one of the most beautiful places in Crete and all of Greece. It is truly is a Greek Island hidden paradise and one of our favorite beach destinations to visit in all of the world.

Loutro lies on the south coast of the Chania region in west Crete, between Chora Sfakion and Agia Roumeli, the exit to the Samaria Gorge. This magical fishing village is only accessible by foot or by sea, and Ferries run daily connecting Loutro to nearby towns. There is no better place to disconnect from the outside world than here while relaxing on the pebble beach with turquoise water slowing lapping back and forth. The little village is lined with tavernas serving up traditional Greek food and fish from the Mediterranean Sea. Our favorite restaurant is Ilios, where you can sometimes see locals playing traditional Greek music and dancing on the weekends.
