Hello, I am Sahar.
A girl from a quiet village in Iran; where life still begins with the sunrise, not with the sound of the alarm clock. If you are tired of the hustle and bustle of the city, traffic, smoke, stress and the endless pace of life, this video is for you. I am not here to teach you anything; I just want to show you life as it is… simple, calm and real.

In this video, you will join me on a completely ordinary but deeply relaxing day of village life in Iran; from the moment I wake up until I drink charcoal tea by the fire and prepare my food with my own hands. There is no luxury here, but everything is real.

❄️ The beginning of a snowy day in the village

When I open my eyes in the morning, it is still twilight. A heavy but kind silence has taken over everything. The snow from the night before has covered the yard of our mud house with white. The first thing I do is sweep the house. The sound of the broom on the floor is one of those sounds that, if you are from the countryside, goes straight to your heart.

When the house is clean, I open the door and the cold air pinches my face. The chickens and roosters are waiting. When I pour the seeds, it is as if life is coming back to the yard. This scene is normal for me, but I know that for many of you who live in high-rise apartments, it is comforting to see it.

🫏 A journey with a gray donkey in the heart of nature

After doing the housework, it is time to go out. My gray donkey, my old friend, is ready. I mount it; I have a shotgun and binoculars with me. The snow softly crunches under the donkey's hooves and I head towards the mountain.

There is no asphalt road here. Just mountains, trees, snow and silence.

I am not a professional hunter; this is part of our rural life. In the heart of nature, with respect. When I choose a bird, I know that my food for today comes from this mountain. This direct connection with nature is something that is lost in cities.

🔥 Returning home and the true taste of life

I return home with the bird I have hunted. My hands are cold, but my heart is warm. In the yard, I light a fire. The sound of burning wood is one of the oldest sounds in the world; a sound that has been with humans for thousands of years.

I roast the bird. No special spices, no strange equipment. Just fire, patience and time. At the same time, I make a fiery tea; A tea that will never taste the same as gas and electric tea. When I take the first sip, it feels like all the fatigue of the day is gone from my body.
