Cleveland weather: Sunny Saturday with high winds easing late in the day

All of Friday's rain and wind will be moving out of Northeast Ohio just in time for the weekend. Brighter skies will be prevailing by daybreak. By the afternoon, the sunny skies will continue as highs approach the upper 50s. Saturday will be the best overall day of the weekend.

Sunday will be warmer, but showers and storm chances will be in the mix later in the day. Southerly winds will flow in aiding highs to approach the low 70s. Clouds will be on the increase through the day with the next cold front advancing closer. Latest guidance has damp weather arriving around sunset. A few rumbles of thunder will be likely.

There is a MARGINAL risk for severe storms Sunday. Considering the current timeline the opportunity for stronger storms will be limited, but bears watching through the weekend.
