George M Church is professor genetics at Harvard Medical School, a founding member of the Wyss Institute, and director of PersonalGenomes.org, the world's only open-access information on human genomic, environmental and trait data.

In this talk, George will discuss how the improvement of DNA reading and writing by 20 million-fold has enabled various applications, including: making cells resistant to all viruses; affordable gene therapies for aging reversal and vaccines; enhanced transplants and cell therapies; and, ecosystem and species restoration.
