Our first ever boil of sap from our maple trees. Follow along with us as we boil sap for the day and see how much syrup we end up with from our 34 gallons of sap. This is only our first collection of sap and therefore the first of many times we will boil this year.

We borrowed the stove/evaporator setup from a guy Kelby works with. He owns Maine Metal Creations and custom built this stove. It works amazing! He has some pretty cool metal creations. Be sure to check him out on Facebook!

K&A Farm is a small family run farm in St. Albans, Maine. We raise pigs in the woods, broiler chickens in the field, and organically grow vegetables. We aim to grow our animals in a thriving silvopasture and have as much of their food come from the natural environment as possible. We currently offer sides and whole hogs, whole broiler chickens, and a variety of vegetables. Fall 2021 we will have retail cuts of pork available!
