To summarise Frequency in three words, those words would be: Internet on Video.

Never again will you have to use individual apps or you favourite websites for Youtube, Vine, the BBC, Fox, ESPN, Vevo and so on. It's all here, in one place, organising, tailoring and showing you what you need to watch.

At the top of the screen you'll find the channel bar or TV tuner so to speak. Swipe across this bar and choose the channel you want to watch right now. In an instant videos from that channel will display below and when you find something of interest press to play, tilt your screen to horizontal to put the video player automatically into full screen and enjoy the content.

If it's specific content you're after that the channel bar doesn't yet provide, that's no problem. A simple word search will display both videos relating to that term and various channel suggestions that you might want to explore. Find one you're interested in and you can add it to the channel bar for quick future access.

You can delete channels from that bar and also rearrange it to put you most popular channels towards the start.

But if you're in a more open minded mood you can simply select the trending option and see what's popular on the internet. When it comes to global events such as the World Cup, or the Olypmic games or when VGJFelix releases a new video you can be guaranteed that the hottest videos will appear in this section. As the application suggests; the higher the audience, the higher the frequency of videos.

The ease at which you can jump from video to video provides that wonderfully aimless quality. You might start with a definite theme in mind but soon you'll be watching videos about cats, trailers for movies you've never even heard of and documentaries about how Arial typeface was invented.

What's more you can also tie in your own social media networks so that you can crunch through video content from your Facebook and Twitter feeds (minus everything else).

More channels are being added, the content continues to exponentially expand. So download it now so you can say you were there when Frequency first came alive.
