ABOUT THE PANEL:
Sherin Khankan
She is a sociologist of religion and philosophy as well as a cognitive psychotherapist. As the founder and CEO of The Exitcircle, she has established a nationwide network of therapy groups supporting victims of psychological violence. She is also the founder and imam of The Mariam Mosque in Copenhagen, a pioneering initiative promoting new perspectives on women’s roles in Islam. Alongside her organisational work, she is an activist, columnist, TV host, and lecturer, known for her outspoken voice on issues of religion, gender equality, and human rights. She has published five books, including Women Are the Future of Islam and 10 Steps Out of Psychological Violence, both of which have contributed to international debates on faith and empowerment.
Balancing her professional and activist roles with family life, she is married and a mother of six children.
Boniface Verney-Carron
He is a French osteopath and holistic health practitioner based in London. He is recognised for his integrative approach to body psychology, focusing on how emotions are stored in the physical body and the role of somatic therapy in healing trauma. As the founder of the Verney-Carron Health Practice, he emphasises the connection between biomechanics, neurology, circulation, digestion, and psychology in treating physical symptoms. Verney-Carron advocates for embracing discomfort as a means to boost resilience and improve overall well-being.

Tine Hertz is a Danish entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in branding and advertising. After a long and demanding career as a business owner, creative leader, mother, and frequent traveler, she turned her focus toward longevity, wellness, and human optimisation. She is the founder of One Thirty Labs and CPH Health Week, two forward-thinking companies at the intersection of science, beauty, and well-being.
