LR Baggs Hi Fi Lyric Custom Blend System

This video provides five audio tracks that compare the blending combinations of the ‘L R Baggs Hi Fi Pickup System’ with the ‘L R Baggs Lyric Microphone’ in an acoustic steel string guitar. The electronic wiring has been customised for installation and the cables are suspended in the guitar box to avoid touching the soundboard top. The customise guitar pickup system is connected to the ‘Grace Felix 2’ two channel D.I. Box via a 6.5mm stereo jack cable. The 'Custom Blend System' can be installed in a 'Falcate' Braced or 'X' Braced guitar and only requires one 9 volt battery to power this setup.

This system gives the musician total control to craft the acoustic guitar sound you want across all of the frequency range available independently with the 'Hi Fi' and the 'Lyric Microphone' in either blended combination or using them in singular format to suit your guitar style playing. Having this control eliminates the crossover frequency issues that are locked in with other systems that restrict the lower frequency response of the microphone.
