Temper Temper - Jam #41 - [Korg Volca]

Описание к видео Temper Temper - Jam #41 - [Korg Volca]

I finally got around to working out how to load my own samples onto the Volca Sample. It wasn’t hard, I’m just lazy. I’ve started with a Japanese Koto and tried for some chilled lo-fi sounds using the microcosm. It was hard to rein in at times but a fun process and jam overall.

The FM is providing the bells. When transposed down four octaves they become very percussive. You can hear them in the minimal mid section and during the closing part.

The drum is set to some basic kick and snare sounds with the release automated throughout and a fair bit of probability programming for variation.

The keys is brought in and out using the cut off and played live, as is the modular. The modular has my standard patch of an LFO controlling the fold, mod and release.

The bass was involved but felt a bit pointless so I removed it. I’m trying to move away from using all 6 Volca’s purely because I have them.

The FM and Keys run into the H9 which is set to a shimmer reverb setting.

The sample and the modular run into the microcosm which is set to the interrupt setting. I'm enjoying the microcosm but still getting to grips with it. Feels like a nice pedal to play live.

The drum runs independently into logic where it has some compression applied.

Everything runs through a tape emulator and has some general EQ settings to gel everything together.
