Prabhas, whose full name is Uppalapati Venkata Suryanarayana Prabhas Raju, is a prominent Indian actor celebrated for his work in Telugu cinema. Born on October 23, 1979, in Chennai, India, Prabhas has become one of the highest-paid actors in Indian cinema. He has consistently featured in Forbes India's Celebrity 100 list since 2015, accumulating seven Filmfare Awards nominations, a Nandi Award, and a SIIMA Award throughout his career.

Prabhas embarked on his acting journey with the 2002 Telugu drama "Eeswar." However, it was his role in the action romance "Varsham" (2004) that marked a turning point in his career. His notable works include "Chatrapathi" (2005), "Bujjigadu" (2008), "Billa" (2009), "Darling" (2010), "Mr. Perfect" (2011), and "Mirchi" (2013), where he received the Nandi Award for Best Actor.

The year 2015 catapulted Prabhas to stardom when he portrayed the title character in S. S. Rajamouli's epic action drama, "Baahubali: The Beginning." This film became the thirteenth-highest-grossing Indian film ever. Prabhas reprised his role in the sequel, "Baahubali 2: The Conclusion" (2017), which shattered records, becoming the first Indian film to gross over ₹1,000 crore (US$155 million) in just ten days.

Prabhas further expanded his reach with the pan-India action thriller "Saaho" (2019). Notably, he is the first South Indian actor to be honored with a wax sculpture at Madame Tussaud's wax museum. Besides his film career, Prabhas actively supports humanitarian and philanthropic causes and serves as the brand ambassador for the Mahindra TUV300.

In 2022, Prabhas starred in the period romance "Radhe Shyam," followed by the mythological action film "Adipurush" in 2023. Currently, he has four films in various stages of production, including "Salaar" directed by Prashanth Neel, and Nag Ashwin's epic mythological sci-fi film "Kalki 2898 AD," where he shares the screen with Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani. Additionally, he is set to appear in "Raja Deluxe," a horror comedy film directed by Maruthi, and "Spirit," directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and produced by UV Creations, T-Series, and Bhadrakali Pictures.
