Japanese Flowering Quince: Planning for a Succession of Blooms in the Garden

Описание к видео Japanese Flowering Quince: Planning for a Succession of Blooms in the Garden

A key part of garden design is planning for a succession of blooms throughout the season. Let's take a look at the early-blooming Japanese Flowering Quince, and how I interplant it with other later-bloomers for a constant supply of visually-interesting flowers by my front gate.

Flowering Quince also have added bonuses: early bee food, and the possibility of edible late-fall fruit, useful for drinks and jams. (not to mention thorns, if you are looking for additions to your hedgerow)
