UPDATE : In further testing, I've found the SCL (CKL / Serial CLocK) line from the LCD screen to the ESP32 (GPIO pin 18) should probably be even THICKER than 26 AWG (silicon wire). I went to 22 AWG and all my screen tearing and black screen drop-outs went away like magic. 😊
