Disco Vader is back at it again, this time bringing you a classic of (relatively) contemporary Dance Pop by a true icon of the scene: BAD ROMANCE by the one and only LADY GAGA, released in 2009 as the lead single of her second studio album THE FAME MONSTER! I always liked her music because of its unique approach to instrumentation, its use of almost experimental-sounding effects as well as the clever harmonies and chord progressions. Usually, you can spot a Gaga song before she even hits the first note. And this one is no exception at all. The fun part of this cover was figuring out some creative stickings in order to be able to play that iconic electronic woodblock percussion part while keeping the rest of the beat running, and I'm really happy about how it turned out in the end. So let's fire up those disco balls, hit the dance floor and party to this 2000's Dance Pop classic!
