This video shows you how to assemble the Durant Cricket Mesh Roller Sight Screen which is easy to construct, features fully galvanised component parts, is easy to maintain and it is great in windy places as the wind blows through the mesh.

TOOLS
1 x Impact Driver or 19mm Sockets and Ratchet to tighten the nuts and bolts.
1 x Adjustable Spanner or 19mm spanners to help tighten nuts and bolts.
1 x Pair of Pliers.
4 x Trestles or similar supports for the wheel base.
2 x 4m working height Step Ladders to reach the top of the Mesh Roller Sight Screen frame if necessary. Although the new design should not require you to use step ladders at all!!

Assembly
Firstly, it's important to make sure you have all the components and the tools you'll need for its construction -- there is a component list supplied with each sight screen.

Prior to construction, there's a little preparation to complete, so it's a good idea to start by setting out the components as shown and make easy access to the nuts and bolts that need to be fitted.

Top Tip -- Don't forget to add washers to each bolt and nut.

Once the Heavy Duty Wheel Bases have been placed in position, you can bolt the two Heavy Duty Wheel Bases together with the Heavy Duty Channel Base - using the M12 x 40mm bolts, M12 nuts and washers, and the Impact Driver and adjustable spanners or a 19mm suitable spanner and the wheels supplied as support.

The Wheels can then be added making sure both the greased nipples and the large washers are on the outside. Insert the split pins and split using the pliers.

You can now attach the uprights to the base on both sides making sure the hooks are at the base; using the nuts and bolts supplied bolt on the 2 Long Bracing bars to the uprights on both sides (this all new system will allow you later to push the frame up into position onto the Base frame).

The next step is to attach the Mesh Roller Barrel at the top of the uprights on both sides with M12 x 75mm bolts and M12 nuts with the nuts.

Now walk the frame to the Heavy Duty Wheel Base frame, lift into the upright position and place on the Heavy Duty Base frame and secure with M12 x 40mm bolts and M12 nuts.

The next step is to secure the 2 Short Bracing Bars to the Uprights with M12 x 75mm bolts and M12 nuts.

Lastly, insert the top hook of the Winding Handle into the loop at the top of the Roller Mesh Barrel and wind. Once fully down, insert Round Pole and hook under the hooks. Now tighten with a couple of counter winds upwards.

Congratulations, your all new galvanised 4m Mesh Roller Sight Screen is now ready to be wheeled into position for its first game!

Maintenance Tips
Regularly add grease to the wheel axles with a grease gun though the grease nipples.
