ETS2: RttBS: Frosty: Balkan Explorer City Push: Burgas.BG to Karlovo.BG

So the DLC "Road to the Black Sea" has been out for a while now, and I am making a push to finish all cities in the DLC and achieve the "Balkan Explorer" achievement. I have been neglecting Bulgaria a little bit, so most of the un-visited cities are there.

The third city in the in the push is Karlovo (Карлово). This is a historically important town in central Bulgaria located in a fertile valley along the river Stryama at the southern foot of the Balkan Mountains. It is well known for rose oil, which is grown there and used in producing perfume.

The driver's journey starts in Burgas (Бургас), at the Rockeater quarry with a load of excavated soil. He drives on minor roads to a road leaving Burgas to the north west. This turns onto route 7 after a while, which he takes north instead of south to the Turkish border.



Route 7 quickly reaches the A1 expressway, which our driver takes south west. After passing a fuel stop, the way turns off onto route 55 to the north-north-west. It goes through some hills and past a lake, then reaches a turnoff to the west.


This road heads towards the Karlavo district. There is a turnoff to the apple orchard at the edge of the district. The driver parked fairly easily. He gets €9514 and 331 XP for the trip.
