STORYLINE:
A court in Belgium was expected to sentence a chief suspect in the country’s deadliest peacetime attack on Friday.

Salah Abdeslam was charged with terrorist murder for suicide bombings that killed 32 people and wounded hundreds at Brussels' main airport and a busy subway station.

Abdeslam was one of six defendants found guilty for their role in the March 22, 2016 plot.

He was already serving a life sentence without parole in France over his part in attacks that hit Paris cafes, the Bataclan theater and France’s national stadium in 2015.
