Reggae message of hope, peace , love and unity stands out in this current particular environment where there has been a significant rise in messages of division and segmentation. Reggae’s message of unity stands against voices that seek to divide us through class, race, sex and religion .

In this poem Fiona speaks of unity amongst the Caribbean community. Reminding us that Guyana too is part of the community even though it is in mainland South America . This call reminds us that borders, culture and customs should not separate our communities.
