Joes Impala was a long time coming we first got to photograph it in Manteno Illinois when he was picking it up from Platinum Custom Cars to finish it in his shop. After several setbacks it debuted in Nashville Tn 83.8% finished, and then showed up at GoodGuys Desmoines where it received the Custom Rod of the Year nomination. Joe took it to Pleasanton GoodGuys, and it got stolen, but by sheer luck it got recovered.
I was lucky enough to be able to complete my photoshoot in his hometown in Illinois a couple weeks after it had been recovered, and just got back from winning a pros pick at the Loveland Colorado Goodguys show.
