Canon 10D sensor betters A7RV at the pixel level in 3 DxO metrics out of 4.

If you have a beef with measured data (presented here, I did not create it!), take it out on DxO.... I just present their measurements to you, have altered none. If you think it's a direct attack on your ego then take it up with them and design a new sensor measurement protocol that brings out the A7RV the better in all metrics than any old camera. While nobody casts any aspersions on the magnificent A7RV, here, you will be shown empirical evidence that explains why the early sensors (namely, the Canon 10D shown here) have their magic - it is not the figment of imagination of senile old fossils barking at the moon, but in fact, rooted in hard-core measurements.

It is well-known that with large prints, and at base ISO the A7RV reigns supreme. However, it is entirely unknown (yet a fact) that the venerable Canon 10D 's sensor, introduced in 2003, BEATS the A7RV sensor in 3 sensor metrics out of 4 when the two sensors are compared at the pixel level, looking at the working ISO range of the Sony sensor where there's an equivalent for 10D. (That is, between ISO100-1600) Let us explore!
