Jaguar XKR Car Audio upgrade with OEM Integration

XKR audio upgrade, OEM integration (head unit unchanged). Installed by Elite Audio Solutions using Focal Polyglass speakers, Audison bit Ten DSP, Hertz HDP4 Amplifier. Bonus footage.

Later (2016), I replaced the 5-1/4" (130cm) front speakers with 6-1/2" (165cm) Focal Polyglass speakers, as there's room to do it. I moved the 5-1/4" to the rear and replaced the amp setup with a Alpine PDX-5 (75x RMS x 4; 300w RMS x 1).

Later still (2024), I replaced the Alpine PDX-5 with a Hertz ML Power 4 (the current version of the amazing Hertz HDP4 (150w RMS x 4 at 4 ohms)) and a Hertz HCP-1D (300w RMS x 1 at 4 ohms) to drive the sub. The Alpine PDX-5 amp had good power but not the depth, power and clarity of the Hertz amp(s). I found that it did not reproduce the true clarity of vocals and instruments as though you were listening to live music, as the Hertz amp(s) would. And a shout out to Alphasound Car Audio in Alpharetta, GA who did the amp swap and tuning.
