Hey parents and teachers!

My name is Mike, and I’m a 23-year-old paraprofessional at Mentor CARES (Cardinal Autism Resource and Education School). This school year marks my fourth year in education! I’ve also coached basketball and taught kids how to play drums.

As a kid, I always looked up to the older kids, and now I strive to be the role model I would have wanted.

My goal is to create the best video resources possible for your children! I want to make a positive impact all around the world—even if it's just by putting a smile on your face!

Autism Goes kick started from the desire to alleviate some of the anxiety and fear that is often paired with new experiences for individuals with autism and their families. We scoured the internet for a platform that provided community supports and tools for our friends with autism and came up short time-after-time. After creating community outing social stories and supports for our students, we wanted to create a way to share these resources with others to help make new experiences in the community more accessible. For some individuals, visiting new places in their world can be very frightening. Fear-of-the-unknown can cause some individuals and their families to stay within the comfort of what they know instead of venturing out and experiencing what the world has to offer. With new experiences comes growth and our goal is to help individuals with autism by giving them the tools they need to access their world, to be brave and GO live their life.
