Showing off some of the Voice Attack command profile I have been working on for/while playing Elite: Dangerous Beta.

It's a really cool game from what I have played so far. If you have ever wanted to pilot a ship through the vast depths of space, this is definitely a/the game for you. There are other similar games in the works, that I have not played so I can not speak on them, but I do know that if you want to do more than just shoot at other ships, Elite: Dangerous is definitely a game worth checking out.

Voice Attack is a PC software that allows you to program any type of voice command (you type what you want to say as your voice command), as well as keyboard shortcuts, and you can have that trigger all kinds of functions, conditional statements, and much much more. It is by far one of my top 5 favorite programs of all time. One of the reasons is because to buy the program license, it is only $8. $8!! A program like this would normally go for MUCH more. And it is SO versatile! I have spent WAY more on programs that did WAY less. I could not recommend it any more, it's amazing. At the very least just check out the limited trial. Skip your jumbo latte and buy the program. Support such awesome developers. I promise Starbucks won't miss the $8.

Now, for the vocal responses, Voice Attack by default uses the standard Microsoft Anna voice which, while it will definitely work, leaves a lot to be desired. It uses your computer's Text-to-Speech engine to read whatever responses you type in for it to say. The voice you heard was a voice that I purchased from a different site. It is from a company called IVONA, it is there Male English-British voice named "Brian". Compared to Microsoft Anna, this voice is like butter. It pronounces everything more fluidly and seamlessly connects sentences. It is HIGHLY over priced, but if you want a good voice talking back to you, I feel it is worth the money.
