How to Put an Elastic Waistband on your Jeans!

Here's a way to exchange your button front, zip fly jeans into a pair of super comfy waistband jeans. I can't wait to do all my jeans now!

I used a pair of jeans that I thrifted for the waistband fabric. They are roughly the same stretch denim as the ones I wanted to alter.

I also found some polyester knit in my fabric stash to use for a "tummy control" panel that I attached. You could use an old t-shirt to cut this panel and it would work fine. Any reasonably stretchy knit will do.
