Joe was casting around a Googan Squad "banger" Crankbait and hooked up with a huge pike for this river. I netted it from the kayak and we busted out the bump board, but the northern pike was longer than my 36 inch bump board! It was probably an inch over, so we're calling this a 37 inch northern pike! Nice work, Joe!

I was using bottom rigs with worms and found all the tiny smallmouth bass.
