【 natural holiday 】#37 真冬の森でスノートレッキング。

町の90％が森林の北海道下川町で家具工房を営んでいます。
地元木材から樹の形を活かしたモノ作りをし、森と共に生活をしています。
We run a furniture workshop in Shimokawa-town, Hokkaido, where 90% of the town is forest.I make things using local wood and make use of the shape of trees, and live with the forest.

朝方は気温が－28℃まで下がりいました。
少しだけ気温が上がる午後から歩いて森へ向かいます。
パウダースノーなのでスノーシューの浮力を上げる深雪用テールギアを装着。
冬以外にも訪れる場所なのでコースな把握しています。
入口付近にはエゾウサギ、キタキツネ、エゾクロテンの足跡があるけど森の奥はエゾシカの痕跡のみに。
この環境で生きられる野生動物は凄いです。

There are footprints of elephants, foxes, and Ezokuroten near the entrance, but the back of the forest is only traces of Ezo deer.
Wild animals that live in this environment are amazing.
