GMS Reboot/Heroic Kronos - Blaster Normal Kalos Solo

Yet another fairly sloppy first clear, with multiple missed shots and some careless deaths. The damage has been there for the clear for a week or two prior to this but I kept getting either very unfortunate RNG with devices, played too carelessly or had the game client outright crash in the middle of my run. By the time of this clear it's likely no longer close to a minimum damage run with all the 6th job progression made over time, which is especially evident with all the embarrassing missed shots and dropped uptime.

As frustrating as this boss is, I did find it quite fun to learn to try to bait the boss to teleport/dive to the bottom as much as possible in phase 2 in order to maximize uptime (by being able to then safely hit him from above), along with working on getting a really accurate timing on the Guardian's Roar FMA in order to use the Aeonian Rise Genesis iframe to continue dpsing right through it, though that's still hit and miss for me even now.

Having said that, I do think the boss in its current state is one of the worse modern bosses to be released recently, and the upcoming changes that are already in KMS (longer windup + warning for the FMA, faster regeneration of Kalos' Will for more cleansing shots to be fired in general, visual timer for device activation) are very much needed for the boss to become more enjoyable. I also encountered a lot of extra frustration with several buffs being limited weekly (15% boss/IED VIP event buffs) or only once a day (15% boss damage house buff, Tengu buff, fame chair buff), especially when crashing during those runs.

It was pretty relieving to finally clear this boss especially with the Black Heart I was using expiring the day after this; unfortunately with the Reboot/Heroic final damage skill being reduced due to the introduction of Legion Artifact coming up in Dreamer/Go West, as well as the fact that this was during peak temporary event buffs during the 19th anniversary event, it may not be clearable again for some time for me, until I have time to catch up a bit more on 6th job progression (though the 2nd mastery skill coming in July will definitely help).
