Russia and Belarus have begun large-scale Zapad-2025 military exercises, simulating full-spectrum warfare across the Arctic, Baltic Sea, Barents region and Belarus. The drills feature hypersonic Kinzhal missile flights, Bastion and Bal coastal strikes, Tu-22M3 bomber raids, Su-34 and Su-57 air operations, and Baltic Fleet maneuvers against drone boats and underwater saboteurs.
