In 2015, the Studio: Ilka Theurich- project space started as an independent project space in Hannover with the goal to explore and promote visual performance art and performative strategies.

The Studio: Ilka Theurich - project space endeavours to serve national and international artists in transit as a laboratory for experimentation, as a platform and a temporary home. The focus is on the performative, ephemeral visual artistic work which critically questions the limits of the body, time, gender and public space.
